Bright Beginnings Learning Center
The good news of God’s love is the foundation upon which Bright Beginnings is built. Our caring, qualified teachers provide educational opportunities meant to enhance a child’s physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth. We provide experiences that foster a healthy self image and encourage creativity, in addition to teaching skills that help build an excellent educational foundation crucial for Kindergarten readiness. At Bright Beginnings Learning Center, we believe that all children are gifts from God.
Why choose this preschool program for your child? Strawbridge UMC's Bright Beginnings Learning Center stands above the average preschool program in many ways. Looking at our qualified staff, excellent curriculum, enrichment opportunities and our low teacher to student ratios, it becomes clear that this is not your typical preschool. Strawbridge UMC's Bright Beginnings Learning Center is offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to children ages one to five years. To learn more or schedule a tour, please contact Kimberly Kurtz.Schedule

Our Staff
Each of our highly trained staff members must attend continuing education classes throughout the year. In addition to CPR and first aid training, they have also been trained in the United Methodist Church Safe Sanctuary policy. This means that we go the extra mile to keep all children and staff safe while in our care. Our teachers provide daily parent communication telling you about your child’s experience. Our child to teacher ratio is a maximum of 14 children to two teachers.
Curriculum
Each class at Bright Beginnings offers a high standard of curriculum designed to give your child the strongest foundation possible for Kindergarten readiness. The curriculum stimulates a child’s physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth. We are excited to offer preschool Spanish; an opportunity to explore our world through a second language. The goal of Bright Beginnings staff is to provide wonderful, hands-on experiences for children to grow, learn, and shine!
