Nursery

We are very excited you have decided to bring your child to Strawbridge. Our goal is to provide your child a safe and loving environment so that you may freely participate in church activities. Our staff has over ten years of experience. Contact: E-mail Kimberly Kurtz or telephone 281-360-4500.

Walking-Threes - Room 107

The nursery is open on Sunday mornings for newborns through children 3 ½ years old.
To schedule nursery care for other events, please contact Kimberly Kurtz five days in advance.
Please make a good faith effort to have a minimum of three children present.

Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures

Please label all of your child’s belongings including bottles, diapers, clothes, etc. A sign-in table is located outside of the classroom. Please sign your child in, place a name tag on the back of your child. Please write down any special instructions or information on the sign-in sheet. When picking up your child, please wait patiently at the door for the nursery caregiver to hand you your child and your child’s belongings. Please do not open the door or come into the room to get your child as this can upset the remaining children. Children will not be released to other children or siblings.

Health

In order to provide a healthy nursery for all children, please keep your child home if he or she exhibits any of the following symptoms:

Fever of 100 degrees or higher in the last 24 hours
Vomiting and/or diarrhea within the last 24 hours
Runny nose with any colored discharge
Sore throat
Any rash
Any skin infection
Pink eye and other eye infections including red, watery eyes or mattering of the eyes

If your child should become ill or have an emergency, you will be paged immediately. If for any reason you do not respond to the page, the staff will attempt to locate you.
